Filmmaker Statement

With my film debut, I wish the viewer to experience an emotional journey with our protagonist Kath. I hope that the film will touch the viewer, as well as evoke some questions about connection and atonement in their own lives. Despite the film having nothing to do with Covid-19, I chose to write, direct and produce this film as I was inspired by the idea of all the families locked at home during the start of the pandemic. For me being a busy working choreographer and stage director, it was at the time (however horrible as it sounds) a relief to stop for a moment and just be at home. However, I could not help but wonder about all the people in situations where being at home was neither a pleasant nor safe space to be.
