Ever since I read Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein' for the first time in high school, I've thought a faithful adaptation of the source material could make an incredible film. After watching Ethan Coen's 'The Tragedy of Macbeth', I realized using a specific black-and-white texture in a similar way could work perfectly for adapting 'Frankenstein'. This short film is a proof of concept for that idea. It uses only dialogue from the book in a way that proves adapting the story of 'Frankenstein' in a faithful way with a unique artistic approach could work as a feature-length film.
