Filmmaker Statement

This story is a small window into the experiences of so many immigrant parents and their second generation American born children, where the immigrants have a different experience of finding joy in quintessential American things but have a different experience of what it means to fit in. Its also the story of how the children of these immigrants find ways to turn back to their roots and values and learn to balance it all as an American.
