Filmmaker Statement

One night as I was slowly drifting off to sleep I had the sudden vision of a woman floating mid-air, in a bright pink 80s ski suit, beaming under bright lights and immersed in a profound sadness. “Who was she?” I asked myself, as I drifted… “What’s her story?” Shooting this film in a five minute, highly choreographed oner was an intense challenge, but I felt it was vital to capturing the character’s emotional state and the chaotic environment. This film was the most collaborative creative experiences I have ever had the pleasure of directing, and as a result, the whole team emerged as stronger filmmakers.
