Filmmaker Statement

"Together" was inspired by my desire to highlight the power of diversity and the extraordinary abilities of individuals who are often overlooked. This film is a celebration of talent and resilience, featuring characters portrayed by individuals with unique abilities, many of whom are workers or beneficiaries of the "Applying Best Practices and Experiences in Community-Based Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities in Shahrituz District" project. Supported by the European Union and Caritas Germany, the film stars Azamatullo Khudoyberdiyev, with a special performance by Akbar Karimov, a visually impaired musician whose song enriches the narrative with depth and inspiration. Through this film, I aim to challenge perceptions and demonstrate that true strength lies in our differences.
