Trengellick Rising is a Cornish Language short film shot on hand-processed 16mm black & white Kodak film, using entirely post-sync sound. The film was conceived with the aim to positively contribute to regional efforts to revive a near-forgotten Celtic language: Kernewek. The film was selected at the OSCAR and BAFTA qualifying Encounters Film Festival in 2023, and screened in cinemas in Cornwall in 2024 - twice!
