Angus Castle-Doughty and Andy Burse met during the chemistry audition for Netflix's Shadow & Bone. After being cast together as best friends, it soon became clear that their relationship off-screen mirrored that of their TV characters. Fascinated by the fact that the casting team could spot their chemistry before they could themselves, the pair wondered what would have happened had they not got on... had they in fact, hated each other. Between scenes whilst shooting the fantasy epic, Andy and Angus created skits that would form the basis for their debut film Two's A Crowd. A modern take on Britain's historic fascination with double acts and with whip smart dialogue, the film is a stand alone comedy in its own right. That said, it also acts as the opening episode of a TV show that the two actors are keen to develop. Two's A Crowd is about brotherhood, the duplicity of celebrity identity and how to navigate an industry that sees you as a thing first and a person second.
