Filmmaker Statement

This film, which may or may not based on a true story, sheds light on how much of our lives happens on, through and because of our cell phones. It's a relatable tale told through the iPhone of a nearly 30 year old love cynic gives into external and internal pressures, finally “putting herself out there” for the first time. An unexpected romance that blooms over text. Some would say it was quite unex·text·ed. On the theme of technology bringing people together -- each member of the crew was located in a different time zone throughout the production of this film. All collaboration happened online!
