My latest film is a short music doc that follows Red Bull Records artist, Peter $un’s process as he records one of the 3 tracks off his latest EP, 3PIECE. “This shit ain’t coming when I want but it’s always perfect timing” — Peter $un This project is a year & a half in the making. Thus, I am now beyond happy and grateful to finally share it with the world as it is not only my biggest project as a director thus far, but it’s also my most favorite. My belief is that docs are only as good as their subjects. Working with Sunny was phenomenal as he allowed us to capture who he is in more ways than one and gave us his trust throughout every step of the process. This film is dedicated to Sunny’s brother, Walter McGhee Peterson Jr. and my cousin, Monique Masters (who actually passed away the very first day I met Sunny in the studio). This is for y’all. Thank you for being with us in spirit.
