Filmmaker Statement

Any great dramatic series, whether it's science, fiction, procedural, comedy, etc. usually has decent world building within the core of its structure. unTruth, has some hints within the pilot episode that was written in 2018 with this core world building in mind. 2018 was a vastly different time. Pre-Covid, and even though certain pieces of the puzzle of this particular narrative that was set to unfold, we're already written we, the unsuspecting public, did not have a clue as to what was going to arrive on the planet with the vaccine... Originally the first elements of this story came to me somewhere around 2012 when I was developing an AI project called “wEirdo” - As I progressed with unTruth, and the idea that what, if one day, due to cosmic forces, we awakened to a world, where you could not tell a lie anymore, the 2 concepts amalgamated into one and this is the proof of concept for this series currently.
