“My hope with sharing our short film, Waitress, is that audiences will watch and gain an understanding into some (among a plethora) of the reasons why victims stay silent. We wanted to tell this story through the perspective of our protagonist, Lauren. It isn’t graphic or sexy or titillating; it’s an honest story about something huge that happens in a small moment, then life goes on.
