Filmmaker Statement

Surprisingly, for a very short film (my second shortest film so far) and a 1-Location, 1-Shot-ish film, it was really challenging. Beside technical hardship due to the very tight schedule and a very low budget, producing the film in a taste that satisfies me with the perfect continuous shot was harder. Since I am a perfectionist most of the times, I've had my crew reshoot the take 10s of times in a short span of few hours and keeping the people there really interested all the time was not an easy task, although their professionalism helped a great deal. In this film, I've condensed a lot of feelings (for a relatively large number of main characters for short short) and a lot of untold stories, hoping to allow the audience to deduce the messages to be delivered from that single scene. Hence, the actors had to play a vital role in this, the only judge if they succeeded or not are the audiences. If I had to give kudos to one person, I'd give it to Mahmood.
