Filmmaker Statement

This short film was made by 1 person. Using a record player, rope and practical effects such as split screen and reverse image, I create the illusion that someone else is filming. The budget consisted of what you might guess from change from my wallet. The film builds suspension at first, but quickly lets you feel like it's getting humorous, and before you know it, the climax comes into its own abruptly. A horror movie should be like a roller coaster; exciting and scary at times. But afterwards give the feeling that you had a good time. It's also my first short film, so definitely not a masterpiece.
