Filmmaker Statement

I felt the narrative around legitimate cases of unarmed black people being killed by white police officers needed to be adjusted. I feel, if white people identified with the victim, then maybe it could bring a better understanding. I recreated the exact police killings and added a back story to humanize the victims and shed light into the lives of victims and their communities.
