Everyone loves to be told that they’re right, but when people's fears are confirmed over and over again, their worldview becomes twisted, tainted, and horrible things can happen. Just look at the news or social media. Or don’t. You might be happier if you don’t, actually… Having grown up during the transitionary period where social media began as a harmless Bebo page where you could rank your friends in order of who was your favourite, and is now at the stage where you might as well have your accounts set up for you at birth so you can maximise your followers, we can see how deep people can fall into the chasm of the internet. We wanted to write something that expressed this fear we have that you might laugh at flat earthers, but you won't be laughing when one of them accidentally kills a whole family peacefully eating their dinner as the flat earther tries to shoot themselves into space with a home made rocket and it malfunctions, crash landing into a nearby house.
