This Neo-Western crime drama is about the power of radical forgiveness in the face of cyclical self-destructive behaviors. This film is about what addicts living in a world where softness is stigmatized and mental health infrastructure is non-existent. It is about the raw potency of human guilt and shame, as well as the moral erosion and loss of self that follow in tow. But ultimately, this film is about inspiring a more delicate approach to how we view ourselves - so that we can be better to others.
