Emily is an experimental filmmaker interested in place-based storytelling. Her work has been shown at Anthology Film Archives, BlackStar Film Festival, DOCNYC, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and others, including her short film "By Way of Canarsie" which is now streaming on the Criterion Channel. She is currently finishing a hybrid feature film about oysters as queer environmental heroes in NYC.
