As a writer, James was a finalist for the 2022 Bridge Award for his play There Is No Eden which made its New York premiere this past September. He has written and directed three short films that have won several awards. As an actor, James’ film and TV credits include Madam Secretary, Hunters, the upcoming Gareth Edwards blockbuster True Love and the lead in the feature film Sirens.
