Filmmaker Statement

Made on zero budget and shot on iPhone with a one-person film crew, this passion project was my first attempt at trying animation and composing for film—a creative solution to limitations when film school moved online during the pandemic. Through playful harmony between handcrafted visuals and original music, I hope to communicate resistance to rigid constructions of gender, expressing a desire for collective liberation from restrictive understandings of identity.
